I understand you quite well.

Simple is better you say? That's the thing that annoyed me most in DotA - the pics are too damn simple and they don't describe the skills at all. Just paint some abstract trash or better steal it from WoW and everything is ready!
I agree that 5000x4200 wallpaper in 64x64 square obviously looks (hmm) bad, I don't like to use them either. Just trying to keep some balance.

    Sounds interesting. Funny to note that I am currently developing my own map too after witnessing the reaction to my proposals on page 1. So we'll understand each other.

Where did I find them? Heh, I made them. The pictures may seem familiar because I use Danbooru as a material source, then I Photoshop them. I also use ripped sprites from SWR, Hisoutensoku (http://www.spriters-resource.com/pc_computer/touhou123/index.html) and Labyrinth of Touhou (http://www.mediafire.com/?fmw4mmnty5g). Have them if you like.

Concerning Doujinstyle, I can advise two things. First, don't use Google Translate if you do - it does not support Javascript on which CAPTCHA code is built. Second, check your email for a confirmation letter. I don't remember it being mentioned anywhere throughout the registration process.
